Dear Jay,

My Mon July 23/12 order of 4 green banded and 2 plain white Victor mugs was received on Fri July 27/12 in excellent condition! The 6 mugs are PERFECT, beautiful NOS New Old Stock mugs.

These prized Victor Mugs will be cherished & have an honored place in my home.
I just had to share my incredible fortune & opportunity on purchasing a rare piece of American history, but sadly an extinct product.

I'm thrilled with my Victor Mugs & absolutely love them!
Thank you Jay.
Cheers!
Sincerely,
Craig Andrews.

Craig, I am very pleased that you are as enthused about Victor Mugs as I am. Please note that you received the very last 2 plain white Victors in inventory, and since I had the only invetory left from the factory, well you get the idea...All the Best, Jay

A great site! I will order some mugs soon. I love local history. I'm a fourth generation Victor resident, and our kids are fifth generation. My grandfather started out at the Lima Insulator plant as a teen. After the Lima plant fire and time in France served in WWI, he moved on to the Victor factory and worked there the rest of his career as a mold maker. My mother also worked there, as did many other relatives. I remembered having these mugs in our home as a child, and they were recently rediscovered by my stepmother, and she gave one to every family member. Coffee is so much better in it, and I like to think about the day it was made, and what my relatives were doing at work and what they might have been doing on that particular day. I wish the year were stamped on it also. I can't wait to have a "new" one!

Dennis,
Thank you for your entry. I am always pleased to understand the "makings" of the Victor Mug personality. Knowing a bit of personal history and your family's involvement adds to the endearing loyalty of Victor Mug users.
I look forward to filling your order.
Respectfully,
Jay Kravitz

I had been looking for diner style coffee mugs, and after finding this site I am confident that I have now found the best new mugs available. Too bad they were made in 1987. Maybe some artisan company in the US will take up the Victor mantle once these are sold out.

I would certaninly endorse the idea of restarting the Victor Mug production line.

I want to thank you for the care you took in shipping my order. Unlike a different location I had ordered from, and received shattered mugs, yours are perfect! I introduced the mugs to a young friend that was not old enough to remember "diner days". After one use, he agrees these really do make for a unique experience in coffee drinking.
